You can cancel a subscription at any time. This article explains how to:

All cancellations begin in: Manage > Subscriptions > click Manage Subscriptions to open the billing portal.
Before you cancel
Depending on what you’re trying to accomplish, you may not need to cancel your subscription.
If you need fewer users, you can reduce the user count instead of canceling.
If you want to add another product (such as Probate), you can subscribe to it separately.
If you want to expand to additional Estate Planning states, you may need to move to Multi-State (see related article).

Cancel one subscription
If you would like to cancel a specific product, you can do so without affecting the rest of your account.
- Go to: Manage > Subscriptions > Manage Subscriptions
- Select the subscription you want to cancel. On the subscription page, click Cancel, and confirm when prompted.
Only the subscription you select will be canceled.
Cancel one product and keep others
Each Agile EP product — such as Estate Planning, Probate, or Multi-State — is managed as its own subscription. Canceling one subscription does not close your account and does not cancel your other active products.
For example:
You can cancel Probate and continue using Estate Planning.
You can cancel one product while keeping another active with a different user count.
Each subscription is handled independently within the billing portal.
What happens after you cancel
When you cancel a subscription:
- The subscription remains active through the end of your current billing period.
- You may continue using the product until that period ends.
- Access will end automatically at the close of that billing cycle.
- Your client data is not deleted.
- Any other active subscriptions remain fully available.
If you decide to subscribe again later, your existing client matters will still be in Agile EP.
Is there a penalty for cancelling and restarting?
There is no penalty for cancelling—we want our software to be flexible and cost-effective for you. If you're on the monthly plan, you can cancel your subscription and rejoin at any time.
