Internal Package Review Summaries
The Opening package review sheet can now be marked up on screen. Add yellow sticky notes anywhere on the page, record who reviewed it and when in a new Attorney Notes section, and click Save a copy to keep your notes in a file you can reopen and carry on adding to. A new ? button explains how it all works, including that notes are only kept once you click Save a copy.
Letters
Letters to the client are now available as standalone documents in both testate and intestate versions, so you can produce a single letter without running a full package.
The "Re:" line on the second and later pages of three letters was wrong: on the Letter to PR re Declaration of Completion and the Letter to PR re Completion of Administration it came out blank, and on the Letter to PR re Petition Review it showed the Probate Overview letter's subject instead of its own. All three now match the "Re:" line on page 1. The "Re:" line is also now bold in every letter — previously the label was bold but the subject beside it was not.
On the Letter to PR re Completion of Administration, the "Re:" line offered for the letter now reads "Estate of [decedent] - Completion of Administration", matching what appears on page 1. You can still overtype it.
Waiver and Consent
On the Waiver and Consent / Non-Spouse Waiver and Consent, the alternate bond amount was left blank ("bond in the amount of $____") even when an alternate amount had been entered. The alternate amount now merges correctly.
The Waiver and Consent / Non-Spouse Waiver and Consent no longer ends with a blank page of pleading paper.
Mailings and notices
In closing mailings and notice letters, an heir who had declined to serve as Administrator was listed twice — once correctly with their address, and again with blank address lines — and their letter opened "Dear :" with no name. Each heir now appears once, with their address and correct salutation.
On the Declaration of Mailing for the Notice of Appointment, the certificate and signature block no longer start on a new page — they follow straight on from the list of parties, so the document no longer leaves the bottom half of the first page blank.
The letters enclosing the Notice of Appointment to the Department of Revenue and to DSHS now leave three quarters of an inch for the signature instead of half an inch.
