Intestate Petition and Order

Four corrections to the sentence listing people with equal or higher priority to serve than your petitioner, and why they aren't serving.

Relationships are named again. The sentence had been giving names without saying who the people were. It now reads:

ANNA D. KNOWLES, the Decedent's child, has declined to serve as Administrator in a Declination filed concurrently with this Petition.

Where no relationship has been entered, the sentence omits it rather than printing an empty phrase.

Pronouns are no longer borrowed from the petitioner. Where a person had declined, the sentence described them using the petitioner's pronoun — a woman petitioner and three declining brothers produced "Her Declination" three times. The wording no longer needs a pronoun, and now matches the testate Petition.

The Petition and Order print the same name. They were reading two different stored copies, so a middle initial entered on the Statutory PR tab reached the Petition but not the Order. Both now use the name as entered there.

A stray extra period is gone — "…filed concurrently with this Petition. . Petitioner is a resident…".

Inventory

The blank first page is gone. The caption now starts at the top of page one, and the document is correspondingly shorter.

Closely held business interests now appear. They were being collected in the interview but never printed on the Inventory.

Asset categories report consistently. Where every row in a category had been left unnamed, the Inventory printed the row, then stated there were none of that category, and omitted the sub-total — leaving that asset's value out of every total.

Deeds

The Notary State question now offers just Washington and Oregon rather than all 50 states, and starts on Washington. Choosing Oregon is now preserved when you reopen saved answers.

Wording and interview captions

Documents no longer read "a Administrator" — the article matches whichever title applies to the matter. Interview questions that referred to the "PR" have been reworded to read correctly for both testate and intestate estates. A spacing defect that ran words together as "necessary partiesand" is fixed.
