If you’ve assembled or downloaded documents from Agile EP but can’t locate the file on your computer, the issue is usually related to your browser’s download settings — not the document itself.
When a document is assembled, your browser automatically saves it to a default download location unless you have chosen to be prompted each time. Below are the most common reasons documents appear to be “missing.”
Check Your Browser’s Download History
Your browser keeps a record of recent downloads.
In Chrome or Edge:
Press Ctrl + J (Windows)
Or click the three dots and select Downloads
In Firefox:
Click the download icon in the toolbar
Or press Ctrl + J
In Safari:
Click the download arrow in the toolbar
From the download list, you can usually click Show in folder (or similar) to open the exact location of the file.
Check Your Default Downloads Folder
Most browsers save files to your computer’s Downloads folder unless you have changed the setting. You can open your computer’s file explorer and check:
Downloads
Desktop
Any folder you may have previously selected as your download location
If you recently changed your browser’s download location, documents may be saving to the new folder instead.
You May Be Prompted to Choose a Location
If your browser is set to “Ask where to save each file,” you may have chosen a location manually when downloading. If you don’t remember where you saved it, check your browser’s download history to view the saved path.
The Download May Have Been Blocked
If nothing downloaded at all:
Check whether your browser blocked the download.
Look for a notification or warning near the address bar.
Confirm that pop-ups are allowed for Agile EP (document previews and downloads rely on this).

Still Can’t Find It?
If you are still unable to locate your document:
Search your computer for part of the file name.
Re-assemble and download the document again.
Contact support and let us know which browser and operating system you’re using.
Your documents are generated by Agile EP at the time of assembly, but where they are saved is controlled by your browser settings.
