Disposition of Remains

When no Agent has been named, the document previously printed "I appoint , as the person to make all decisions…" — an empty space and a stray comma. It now prints a blank line to complete by hand:

I appoint ______________________, as the person to make all decisions regarding the disposition of my remains…

The Estate Plan Summary reads "You have named ______________________ to serve as your Agent" in the same situation, and no longer says "Co-Agents" when nobody has been named. The Assemble Your Documents tab now warns you when a Disposition of Remains is selected with no Agent named, as it already does for the Power of Attorney and Health Care Power of Attorney.

For couples whose plans differ, the second client's Disposition of Remains now appoints the agents chosen for that client. It previously named the first client's agents while asking the second client's agents to sign the acceptance page.

Estate Plan Summary

• Sections now follow your document selections. Ticking a document in the interview selects the matching section of the summary. Previously it was possible to select the Estate Plan Summary, leave the parallel summary checkboxes untouched, and get a one-page document.
• Wishes for remains, place of repose and funeral services no longer appear when the corresponding question hasn't been answered. They previously printed as an incomplete sentence — for example "You have each ."
• Tangible personal property — for a single client the paragraph was missing its opening words and began mid-thought. It now reads "All of your tangible personal property, except for items gifted to others on a separate gift statement, will be distributed to…", and no longer repeats the "(described below)" reference.
• Remaining assets — stray periods and doubled spacing ("will be. divided", ". .", "for .") no longer appear, and on mirrored married and committed plans two words that ran together ("will bedistributed") are now separated correctly.
• Residuary shares no longer print a stray extra full stop after each sentence, for example "…if she survives both of you. . If Linda does not survive…".
• Beneficiary names no longer carry a doubled or misplaced "the" — sentences that read "for the benefit of the the Primary Beneficiary" or "due at the Judy's death" now read correctly. The same correction was made in the Irrevocable Gift Trust.

"A relationship is missing" warning

This message no longer appears for people related to only one spouse or partner. Entering, for example, the second client's sister with no relationship to the first client previously kept the warning on screen with no way to clear it. The warning still appears when someone has no relationship entered for either client.
