For Washington and Oregon users
Revocable Trust and Joint Revocable Trust documents received a comprehensive proofreading pass, including corrections that only appeared for particular combinations of interview answers:
- The trustee-succession provision now cross-references the correct paragraph (Removal of Trustee), and trustee succession sentences no longer show blank names when you select the clients themselves as trustees.
- Two sentences in the single Revocable Trust that mistakenly said "under this Will" now correctly say "under this Trust."
- A missing word was restored in the tax payment provisions, a misspelled statute abbreviation (WUCTA) was corrected, and a small grammar error in the GST tax allocation language was fixed.
- Real property gift provisions read correctly (a doubled "the" is gone, and the "give to each beneficiary" wording now appears when selected).
- Dozens of punctuation and spacing errors were cleaned up throughout both documents — stray double spaces, doubled periods, spaces before punctuation — including in the pet and gifting provisions.
Estate Plan Summaries (Revocable Trust and Joint Revocable Trust) also received a cleanup:
- Stray spaces before punctuation, doubled periods, and run-together sentences corrected.
- The Community Property Agreement paragraph now reads correctly whichever combination of exclusions you choose.
- Summaries no longer repeat the word "the" when a trust's name already begins with "The" — "The Mulligan Living Trust" now reads correctly instead of "the The Mulligan Living Trust."
Washington only
- Fixed a broken cross-reference in Revocable Trust documents that printed "Error! Reference source not found" in certain beneficiary-fallback sentences.
Oregon only
- Joint Revocable Trust documents now use the term "marital property" in place of "joint property" throughout.
